Alejandro Martínez-Marquina

Welcome! I am a behavioral and experimental economist studying financial decisions. My research examines difficulties in making financial decisions, especially when debt or uncertainty are present. I aIso have projects in Economic History and Applied Microeconomics where I study how people are affected by sudden wealth shocks.

I am currently a Klarman Fellow at Cornell University's Economics Department and will join the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business as an Assistant Professor in 2022.
